Lasith Malinga who was an integral part of Mumbai Indians from day one to last and the highest wicket-taker in IPL history has taken retirement from T20 international cricket.

Virat Kohli & Md Sirj of RCB, Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant Sharma & Axar Patel (DC) reached Dubai and underwent Covid-19 tests. They will complete a 6-day quarantine.

Jonny Bairstow,(SRH) Cris Woakes, (DC), and Dawid Malan (Punjab Kings) have withdrawn from IPL 2021. Reports

PBKS roped South African opener Aiden Markram as Dawid Malan’s replacement.

As per the IANS report only vaccinated crowds will be allowed in the stadium for VIVO IPL 2021 UAE leg.

MI Team members will reach Dubai today

After the cancellation of the fifth Test between India & England, the players of Mumbai Indians ( who were part of the test series) will leave for Dubai from Manchester on Saturday (11th Sep). Since all the players will go by commercial flight, they will have to stay in a 6-day quarantine in Dubai.

Pant will be the captain of the remainder of IPL 2021

Rishabh Pant may be facing criticism due to his poor performance in the ongoing tour of England but there is some relief news for him in the remainder of IPL 2021. The Delhi Capitals team management has decided to retain him as the captain.

Pant was handed over the captaincy at the start of this IPL season after Delhi Capitals regular captain Shreyas Iyer was injured.
