India has to defeat Australia in the upcoming fourth Test match at Ahmedabad to book their spot in the WTC 2023 finals. However, if they couldn’t win this Test match, they have to depend on the result of the New Zealand- Sri Lanka Test series starting tomorrow.

If Sri Lanka won both Test matches in the series and India couldn’t win the Ahmedabad Test match, Sri Lanka will qualify for the WTC finals. Thus, India needs to defeat Australia in the upcoming fourth Test match in Ahmadabad to qualify for the WTC finals.
