Rohit Gurunath Sharma represents the Indian team in international cricket. He is the present vice-captain for the Indian cricket team in the one-day internationals. He is also the current captain of the Mumbai Indians in the VIVO IPL 2021 (Indian Premier League).

He is a right-handed opening batsman who bowls right-arm off-break occasionally. He holds the record as the only batsman in the world to hit 3 double centuries in ODI cricket.
