Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023: Full Schedule, Time In IST, All Teams Squad, Results, Points Table, And Man Of The Match List. Women’s cricket in India is taking a giant leap on March 4 with the start of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023. The inaugural edition of the biggest league in Women’s cricket WPL kicks off on March 4 with an encounter between Beth Mooney-led Gujarat Giants and Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

Five franchises Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz will battle it out for the coveted WPL 2023 trophy.

Each team will face other teams twice in the group stage of the league. The first-placed team in the points table will qualify for the final, whereas the next two teams in the table will play the eliminator to book a seat in the final. Every team can only have five overseas players in the playing eleven the fifth player is from an associate country.
