ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 Updated Points Table After India vs Australia 3rd Test. The four-match series between India vs Australia, which is a part of the ICC World Test Championship (ICC WTC) 2023 began in Nagpur on 9 February. Team India, which won the first two test matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, had to face 9 wickets defeat in the third Test.

In the Indore Test, captain Rohit Sharma’s decision to bat first after winning the toss proved wrong and the team was dismissed for 109 runs. In this test, Shubman Gill was given a chance in place of KL Rahul but he could score only 21 runs. Australian bowler Matthew took 5 wickets in the first innings.

Australia scored 197 in the first innings to take a vital 88-run lead. India could manage only 163 runs in the second innings, in which Cheteshwar Pujara made an important contribution of 59 runs. Spinner Nathan Lyon took 8 wickets in the second innings and adjudge man of the match. The last test will be played in Ahmedabad from March 9

After this thumping victory, Australia officially qualifies for the WTC 2023 final, which will take place from June 7 -11 at The Oval, London.
