Mumbai Indians Target Players

After the retention, Mumbai Indians have at least one good player in each department.

In batting, they have Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav and they shall be on the lookout for 4-5 more star batters. Ambati Rayudu, Rahul Tripathi can be two new batsmen that they can target.

However, Mumbai Indians’ focus will solely be on bringing back their previous players, namely Ishan Kishan and Quinton de Kock in their batting section. However Young options like Yash Dhull and Harnoor Singh and other options like Faf du Plessis are also available.

In the all-around department, they already have Kieron Pollard but if they need a big-hitting finisher, Shahrukh Khan is a very good option.

Among bowlers, they will surely go all out to get back Trent Boult but Kagiso Rabada is also a viable replacement. Mumbai Indians can target Kartik Tyagi, Chetan Sakariya and Md Shami.  Among spinners, Yuzvendra Chahal is a very good option.

Rohit Sharma replaced Ricky Ponting to become the captain of Mumbai Indians in 2013 and has retained the position very rightfully since then. Under his captaincy, Mumbai Indians have won 5 IPL trophies which is the highest by any individual or any IPL team even.
