IPL 2023: Steve Smith Praised MS Dhoni’s Calmness On His Latest Interview With Star Sports. This year, the Indian Premier League will resume its traditional home-and-away structure after three years. On March 31, 2023, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans will play their first game at Ahmedabad.

Steve Smith, a famous batsman from Australia, has unveiled a video detailing his return to the IPL 2023. But this time, he’s joining the official broadcaster of IPL 2023 Star Sports as a commentator rather than making a comeback as a player.

Steve Smith has joined the elite tournament’s expert panel. Smith will make his broadcast debut with Star Sports, bringing his priceless knowledge and experience to the network’s already excellent line-up of panellists, the broadcaster announced in a statement.

Recently, Steve Smith showed his support for captain cool MS Dhoni while speaking with Star Sports. Smith discussed his time with Pune Super Giant and his time playing alongside Dhoni.

“I believe it’s the calmness that Dhoni displays” (was the learning). We witnessed how calm he was throughout his career. He didn’t appear to be bothered by any feelings. That’s something I’ve definitely learned from him, not only during that season, but simply by seeing him go about his job,” Smith remarked on Star Sports.

Steve Smith has formerly played for the Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, as well as the Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Rising Pune Supergiant, and Pune Warriors India, all of which are no longer in existence. In the 2017 IPL, he also guided Pune to a runner-up finish.

Steve led the club to the 2017 IPL finals, where they were defeated by the Mumbai Indians in a nail-biting finish.
