Gujarat Titans led by their charismatic captain Hardik Pandya, dominated the league stage of the tournament and finished at the summit of the points table with 20 points in 14 games. However, they lost to CSK in the first qualifier, as their batsmen failed to counter the spin attack of the home team. Still, by defeating Mumbai Indians in the second qualifier, Titans book their seat for the final of IPL 2023 thanks to a sensational century by opener Shubman Gill.

IPL 2023 emerging Player award winner will get Rs. 20 Lakhs prize money. Also, there are individual awards for players every game. These awards include Most Valuable Player, Super Striker, Power Player, Maximum Sixes, and Game Changer, each of them will have prize money of Rs. 12 Lakhs. Many youngsters like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, Prabhsimran Singh, Matheesha Pathirana, and Noor Ahmed will hope to win the Emerging Player award this season.
