T20 World Cup 2022: Teams, Squads, And Full Players List. There is less than a month left in the commencement of the much-awaited T20 World Cup 2021. This year, the tournament will now be held on the home turf of the defending champions Australia as we all already know and thus the stakes are at an all-time high.
The Group stage matches start on 16th October while the Super 12 matches will be starting on 22nd October. The format of the tournament is simple as always. The 8 teams in the Group stages have been divided into two groups of 4 teams each.
The top two teams from each group will join the already 8 qualified teams of Super 12 and the top two teams from each Group of Super 12 will then move on to the knockouts – Semi-finals and the Final.

We are expecting to see some very exciting matchups this season in the tournament. For example, India and Pakistan have once again been drafted into the same Super 12 Group (2).
It seems like the organizers have figured out that India vs Pakistan match is the cash cow of every single International tournament and the revenue that it generates is unputdownable. We also have England, Australia, and New Zealand in the same group (2) so one of these 3 teams will be out of the knockouts.
