SRH Target Players For Mega Auction

Well SRH has already lost one of the best openers in the league in David Warner after a big argument between the Aussie player and the management last season and they are thus on the lookout for a star opener.

Jonny Bairstow is one player they can target. He was in the SRH squad last season but had to step down from phase 2 of IPL 2022 due to personal reasons and thus he could not be retained by SRH. He is one such player that SRH will definitely want to bring back into their squad.

Another player that SRH can target to open alongside Jonny Bairstow is Indian star player Shikhar Dhawan. He was also initially an SRH player but some years back they sold him to Delhi Capitals. As Dhawan was not retained by DC this season, he can always make a return to his old club.

They can also try to acquire their former player Jason Roy who was phenomenal in phase 2 of IPL last season and showed signs of great potential.  Some other batsmen that SRH can target are Steve Smith, Rahul Tripathi, Nitish Rana, and Nicholas Pooran.

Coming on to the wicket-keepers, Matthew Wade is a good option that SRH can keep an eye on. He was brilliant with Australia in the 2022 T20 World Cup and he can prove to be a great asset.

Shivam Mavi and India U19 player Raj Bawa are two All-rounders that SRH can target. Shivam Mavi showed his great potential during his stay at Kolkata Knight Riders and Raj Bawa was one of the best performers in the 2022 U19 World Cup.

Coming to the bowlers, SRH have many options in this department. They already have a fast bowler in Umran Malik and they can also buy players like Mohammad Shami, Deepak Chahar and Lockie Ferguson as their main pacers.  They also need to sign some spinners and Rahul Chahar and Yuzvendra Chahal will be good options for that department.
