Due to Corona, there has been a significant decline in the income of IPL. That is why there has been such a huge cut in the prize money.
IPL 2021 INDIVIDUAL MATCH AWARDS (each award mentioned below carries a cash prize of 1 lakh):
IPL MAN OF THE MATCH – This award is given to the best player of the match. The player who performs best in the winning cause for the team is given this award.
VIVO PERFECT CATCH- This award is given to the best catch of the match. The fielder who takes the best catch among all the catches is given this award.

SAFARI SUPER STRIKER- This award is given to the batsmen who have scored runs with the best strike rate in the match.
DREAM 11 GAME CHANGER- This award is given to the player who provides the sudden change in the match. This may include any bowling spell or a batting display that changes the course of the match.
UNACADEMY SIXES AWARD- This award is given to the batsmen who hits the highest number of sixes in the match.
CRED POWER PLAYER- This award is given to the player who performs the best during the powerplay.

Apart from these match awards, there are a few awards that are given for the overall performance throughout the series. These are listed below:
Each award mentioned below carries a cash prize of 10 lakh
EMERGING PLAYER OF THE SEASON– This award is given to the player which emerges as the best young cricketer with his performance. It may be batsmen or a bowler.
FAIR PLAY AWARD– This award is given to the team which has the best discipline throughout the IPL.
IPL ORANGE CAP-This award is given to the batsmen who score the maximum runs in the entire IPL season.

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER- Given to the player who has been the most valuable player with bat and bowl throughout the IPL season.
GAME-CHANGER OF THE SEASON-This award is given to the player who performs the best for his side throughout the IPL
SUPER STRIKER OF THE SEASON-This award is given to the batsmen who have the best strike rate in the entire IPL tournament.
MOST SIXES AWARD– This award is given to the batsmen who hit the maximum sixes in the season.
IPL PURPLE CAP-This award is given to the bowler who picks the highest number of wickets in the entire IPL season.
