ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 – 16 Oct to 13 Nov 2022

Host – Australia. 7 Cities (Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Geelong & Hobart) in Australia, will host 45 matches. 16 teams will participate in the shortest form of the world cup. 12 teams ( Australia, India, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies, England, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Namibia & Scotland) have already qualified.

ICC announced the full schedule of the world cup 2022. The tournament will start on October 16 with Sri Lanka taking on Namibia in a round 1 match. Team India will play its first match with arch-rival Pakistan on Oct 23 at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Both teams have been placed in Group 2. The super 12 matches will start on Oct 22 NZ vs Aus.
