World Test Championship 2023-25 Points Table Updated: India Go To The Top After Massive Win Over South Africa. Team India won the second test against South Africa in Cape Town by 7 wickets. They defeated South Africa for the first time in a test in Cape Town. This win took the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team to the second position. South African team defeated Men-in Blue in the last test by an innings and 32 runs. Md Siraj was adjudged man of the match. Jasprit Bumrah and Proteas batter Dean Elgar won the player of the Series award.

Team India is now on top of the WTC points table 2023-25. Proteas has gained the No. 1 spot in the ICC WTC points table 2023-25 after winning the 1st test match against India in Centurion. With one win and one loss in two matches, South Africa has a PCT (win percentage) of 50.00 and they slipped to 2nd position. Team India will play the 5 match test series against England at home.

After this victory, Rohit Sharma becomes the 2nd Indian captain to draw a Test series (1-1) in South Africa after MS Dhoni and the 1st Asian captain to win a match at Cape Town. This test match finished in just 107 overs and it was the shortest ever test in the history.
