IPL 2024 Points Table, Most Runs & Most Wickets (Updated) After KKR vs RCB Match. Kolkata Knight Riders faced Royal Challengers Bengaluru in match no 36 of IPL 2024 at Eden Gardens on April 21. Riders beat Challengers by 1 run and demolished their chances to qualify for playoffs. RCB skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and chose to bowl first. KKR opener Phil Salt scored 48 runs in just 14 balls. Skipper Shreyas Iyer made a half-century in 36 balls. Kolkata posted 222/6 in 20 overs. Yash Dayal and Cameroon Green took 2 wickets each.

To chase a target of 223 runs Bengaluru start well with Kohli and captain Plessis. Kohli was caught and bold by Harshit Rana on 18 runs. Will Jacks and Rajat Patidar gave big hope to RCB fans. Both scored half a century. Patidar took only 23 balls to make his 4th fifty in the Indian Premier League. Andre Russell took 3 wickets, whereas Sunil Narine took 2 wickets .

After this win KKR jumped to 2nd position from 3rd in IPL 2024 points table after playing 7 matches whereas RCB is at the bottom.
