India vs West Indies 2023: Venue, Schedule, Format, and Broadcasting Details: Cricket West-Indies (CWI) announced the schedule and venue for the highly-anticipated India vs West-Indies multi-format series on Friday which starts on the 12thof July.

The upcoming series will be played at 2 venues, West-Indies and USA. The Indian team will face West-Indies in 2 Tests, 3 ODI’s and 5 T20I’s. Hosting international cricket matches in the USA will upsurge the craze of cricket among USA fans and will also help in bringing more audience to cricket. Previously, USA has hosted India vs West-Indies series in 2022 as well.

The 2 test matches of this series are part of ICC World Test Championship 2023-2025. It will also kick-off race of Team India in ICC World Test Championship. This multi-format series will help India to prepare for Asia Cup 2023 as well.

Broadcasting Rights of Ind vs WI Series 2023

As per the reports by Cricbuzz, two OTT platforms will broadcast the IND vs. WI series, Jio Cinema andFanCode. Although fans can stream the series for free on Jio Cinema, However, FanCode holds the rights of West Indies cricket. The parent company, Dream Sportshas sublicensed it to Viacom 18.

Television

DD Sports will broadcast the series live. The TV broadcasting rights for the series were given by Dream Sports to Doordarshan. The IND vs. WI tour will see its end in Florida, USA, on August 13.

Rumors are arising for the IND vs. WI series that matches that are to be played in the USA will start in the USA time zone. The time zone of the USA is 9 hours and 30 minutes behind the Indian Standard Time (IST). So cricket fans might have to wake up at midnight or skip their sleep to watch the matches that are to be held in the USA.
