If we go by this record, Rohit has an edge over Dhoni in terms of runs. However, Dhoni has a better strike rate because of him being remained not out in many innings for CSK.

MS Dhoni is the most successful captain in the history of the IPL in terms of matches won. Rohit surpassed Dhoni in terms of winning percentage. However, if we look closely, his win percentage is marginally higher than Dhoni’s. Rohit has played a lesser game than Dhoni as a captain.
