The first name in this list has to be Tilak Verma. Mumbai Indians roped in this young Mumbai Indians cricketer for 1.5 crores in IPL 2022 mega auction. But, his performance has overshadowed his price tag. He has accumulated 376 runs in 13 innings at an impressive average of 37 and a strike rate of 137.
His impressive performance in the debut IPL season has made the cricket pundits declare him the next superstar of Indian cricket. It is almost sure that the IPL franchises will go all guns blazing to get Tilak Verma in their squad if Mumbai Indians release him before IPL 2023 auction.
