Rajasthan Royals (RR), who won the first IPL title under the captaincy of Shane Warne, bought 21 players in the mega auction, out of which 14 are Indian players while 7 are foreign players. Whereas before the auction, Rajasthan retained Sanju Samson (Captain), Jos Buttler, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Royals spent 32.5 crores out of 90 crores on foreign players, while 95 lakhs were left in the team’s purse after the auction.
