Suryakumar Yadav’s Performance In IPL 2023

Yadav returned with three consecutive ducks in ODIs less than a month ago, making him the 14th batter to do so. Although Yadav has never been proficient in the ODI format, people conveniently put the blame on the format rather than the player.

Before the Indian Premier League 2023 started, Yadav was expected to excel in a format and tournament where he had performed well in the past. However, his three poor outings in a row have raised concerns about the 32-year-old batter’s current form.

Yadav has scored only 16 runs in three innings at an average and strike rate of 5.33 and 84.21, respectively, putting him third-last on the list of highest run-scorers for Mumbai this season.
