IPL 2024 RR: Rajasthan Royals Full Squad, Their IPL Stats, Probable Playing XI, Match List, And Venues. The Rajasthan Royals, who won the first Indian Premier League (IPL) championship, are getting ready to start their season by playing against Lucknow Super Giants on March 24, 2024, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

The IPL 2024 season will kick off with a fantastic opening ceremony on March 22, 2024, at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In the opening match of the season, the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings, will go head-to-head with the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

RR showed up with full force during the auction for the 17th edition of the tournament. The highly anticipated mini-auction took place for the first time in Dubai on Tuesday, December 19. Also, this auction for the prestigious competition featured 333 players vying for a maximum of 77 slots across all 10 franchises.

Royals had a disappointing run in 2023, failing to advance to the knockout stages after reaching the final in 2022. Despite securing 14 points in as many matches, they finished fifth in the tournament, narrowly missing out on a spot in the playoffs. However, with their recent acquisitions in the auction, the team is optimistic about bouncing back with a stronger performance in the upcoming season.

However, going into the event with a purse of INR 14.5 crore, the franchise had eight slots up for grabs, including three for overseas players before the auction. Additionally, they made notable signings like Shubham Dubey and Tom Kohler-Cadmore.
