Lucknow Super Giants Journey In IPL 2022
Lucknow Supergiants, one of the two debut teams in 2022, had a good inaugural season. They had already formed a formidable team, with players such as KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, Deepak Hooda, Ravi Bishnoi, Manish Pandey, and Avesh Khan. All they needed was a consolidated effort.
The team had its moments throughout the season, with players chipping in with valuable contributions. But, they could not handle the knock-out pressure and failed to chase down 206 against RCB in the playoff game. KL Rahul, as a captain, was good and deserves applause for his leadership skills throughout the IPL 2022 edition.
Lucknow Supergiants will take away a lot of positives from their performance in IPL 2022. KL Rahul, the captain, led from the front, scoring the most runs for the team. He has been an impact player in the last few seasons, and his total runs of 616 in 15 innings are a testament to his perfection. His partner Quinton De Kock also played well throughout the season, providing the perfect start at the top of the order.

Deepak Hooda also had a good IPL, scoring 451 runs. In the bowling department, Avesh Khan was instrumental with the new ball. Young Mohsin Khan joined the party towards the later half, picking 14 wickets in 9 innings. Overall, the team effort of LSG helped them reach the playoff stage of IPL 2022.
