Four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings retained four players, including England’s All-rounder Moeen Ali, ahead of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. In the auction, Chennai bought a total of 7 foreign players, out of which Dwayne Bravo is the old player of Chennai, the rest 7 are new.
This time every team had 90 crores in their purse, Chennai spent 22 crores on buying foreign players. It is worth mentioning here that even after the auction in Chennai’s purse, 2.95 crores were left, which is the highest after Punjab Kings.
