Today (12th Feb) was the first day of the auction in which the first 10 marquee players were bid. Shreyas Iyer sold the most expensive of the Marquee players, bought them by Kolkata for 12.25 crores. It is being speculated that Shreyas will be the captain of Kolkata in IPL 2022.
