As the BCCI is still struggling to finalize the dates & schedule for IPL 2021 part 2, there is some unpleasant news for the Indian board. On 7th June, reports emerged that the BCCI would extend the window to lessen double-headers with the final on October 15 – but any extension beyond October 10th will not go down well with the ICC.

Earlier, BCCI warned foreign players playing in IPL 2021 that if they do not participate in the remaining matches of IPL, their salary will be deducted.

BCCI Cancelled T20I Series With South Africa In September Due To Clash With IPL 2021 Part -2

BCCI is making every effort to organize the remaining matches of IPL 2021 postponed due to Corona. In this series of efforts, the BCCI has canceled the series of three T20 matches with South Africa to be held in September.

According to sources, the BCCI has made up its mind to have the postponed IPL 2021 Part 2 in Dubai, and a one or two-match series can be sacrificed for this.

If all goes well, then cricket lovers will see IPL 2021 Part from September 18 or 19 in Dubai. There are a total of 60 matches in IPL 2021, 29 matches were played in Part 1, out of the remaining 31 matches, 9 or 10 double headers (two matches in a day) will be played. The final is likely to be held on 7 or 8 October.

BCCI has requested England Cricket Board (ECB) to start the five match Test series one week earlier as they will get more days to conduct IPL2021 in September.

According to some sources the BCCI think over to make the India Vs England a 4 match Test series to conduct phase 2 of IPL 2021.

The remaining matches of IPL 2021 are not going to happen in India : BCCI Chief Sourav Ganguly.

There is a lot of speculation about the remaining matches of IPL 2021. However, today Sourav Ganguly made it clear that now the remaining matches of the fourteenth edition of the IPL are not going to happen in India.

Where and when will the remaining matches of IPL 2021 be held?

According to sources, the likely month may be September. However, the BCCI is still searching for a window in the midst of its busy foreign tour schedule. Dubai can be a potential destination, although it is very hot in the month of September, so possibilities are being searched in England as well as Sri Lanka.

England Cricket Board -England players unlikely to be available for re-scheduled IPL 2021 :

The England Cricket Board has made it clear that after June it has a very busy international schedule so its players will not be available for re-scheduled matches of IPL 2021.
