Pat Cummins:

The first player on the list has to be Pat Cummins. He was purchased by Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping 15.5 crores. The KKR fast bowler failed as a bowler in the last edition.

Pat Cummins played14 matches and took only 12 wickets. In fact, he took 4 wickets in only a single match. His economy rate was also more than 8. He was IPL 2020 biggest flop.

MS Dhoni:

Mahendra Singh Dhoni failed to perform both as a captain as well as a coach in IPL 2020. In terms of batting, Dhoni could manage to score only 200 runs in 14 innings.

His batting average was just 25. He was retained for 15 crores and this was the first time that Dhoni failed to take his team to the playoffs. He comes in our list in 2nd position as Top 5 flops of IPL 2020.

Glen Maxwell:

One of the most talked-about players Glen Maxwell had a season worth forgetting. He scored just 108 runs in 13 innings with a strike rate of just 101.88 and an average of 15.42. Kings XI Punjab had paid 10.75 crores for this Australian all-rounder and his performance in IPL 2021 proved to be very pathetic. He ranks 3rd in flop players of IPL 2020.

Kedar Jadhav:

During the IPL 2020, there was one player who was always in the limelight in social media. He was Kedar Jadhav. Social media was always flooded with funny memes of Kedar Jadav.

He had a year to forget for CSK. Kedar Jadhav was retained by CSK for 7.8 crores in 2020. He could manage to score just 62 runs in 8 innings. The sad part was his strike rate which was just 93.33. He was also one of the top 5 flops of IPL 2020.

Dinesh Karthik:

Dinesh Kartik was the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders for season 13th. Midway during the season, he resigned from the role of captain in order to focus on his batting.

Still, he could not improve his stats in IPL 2020. In the 14 matches, he could manage to score just 169 runs with an average of just 14.08. He could not justify his price tag of 7.4 crores.
