ICC WOMENS CRICKET WORLD CUP 2022 SCHEDULE:

The pinnacle event for women’s cricket, ICC women’s cricket world cup will witness 31 matches to be played across 31 action-packed days between 4 March and 3 April 2022.

This will be the first women’s cricket tournament to be played since the Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia back in March 2021. The tournament was postponed from its original window in February-March 2021 to March-April 2022. The Prize money of women’s cricket world cup will be $NZD5.5 million dollars

ICC women’s cricket world cup 2022 venue

Eight of the world’s best cricket nations will lock horns against each other head-to-head in six cities in the beautiful country New Zealand.

Auckland, Wellington, Tauranga, Hamilton, Christchurch, and Dunedin are the 6 cities being selected to host the ICC WOMENS CRICKET WORLD CUP 2022 matches.

New Zealand, Australia, India, England, South Africa have qualified for the World Cup. The three remaining teams will be decided from the ICC qualifying tournament which is confirmed to take place between 26 June – 10 July 2021 in Sri Lanka. The eight-team round-robin format will see all teams playing each other, the top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals.

Mithali Raj, Indian Captain is all pumped up for this pinnacle event.

Hosts New Zealand had called the local people as volunteers to participate in the ICC Women’s cricket world cup 2022. A total of 750 “CWC22 Crew” would be inducted into this process. They will be offered the role of tournament time volunteers.
