JASPRIT BUMRAH- INDIA

India got a huge setback when their premier fast bowler was ruled out of the tournament due to a stress fracture. He had just recovered from the same issue, which saw him remain out of the ground for 6 months. But, at the start of the T20 series against South Africa, Bumrah again sustained the injury, making him unavailable for the tournament.

Ravindra Jadeja, regarded among the best all-rounders in t20 cricket was believed to have injured his knee during a pool session in the Asia Cup 2022. According to the reports, he participated in a water sport activity and damaged his knee.
