Villarreal

Despite being placed 7th in the La Liga this season, Unai Emery’s men have done surprisingly well in the UEFA Champions League so far. They have defeated some tough rivals to make their way into the UEFA Champions League Semi-finals which include teams like Juventus and FC Bayern Munich

However, they looked visibly short-footed against Liverpool FC which is undoubtedly one of the Top 2 best teams in the world right now and are in a tremendous form. However, we have seen teams like Real Madrid and Chelsea making a terrific comeback in the second leg after performing poorly in the first leg and there is no reason not to think that Villarreal can pull it off against Liverpool.

Liverpool

Coming to Liverpool, they are undoubtedly one of the very best sides in the world right now and although nothing can be said beforehand, it is foolish to think that they would let the Villarreal players get past them in the second leg.

Liverpool totally dominated Villarreal in the first leg in every aspect and had the ball completely under control. They could have scored way more goals had their players not missed some easy chances.

Besides being one of the favorites to win the UEFA Champions League this season, Liverpool can also possibly win the Premier League and they are just one point behind Manchester City.
