IPL 2024 Eliminator: RR End RCB’s 6-Match Winning Streak, Royals Knock Challengers Out. The Eliminator match between the Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore on May 22nd, 2024, concluded with the Rajasthan Royals winning by 4 wickets. Rajasthan will play against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 2 on Friday in Chennai to decide who will face Kolkata Knight Riders in the final on Sunday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

In the IPL 2024 Eliminator match in Ahmedabad, Rajasthan Royals are aiming for a strong start as they chase a target of 173 runs set by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). RCB, who batted first, scored 172 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Rajat Patidar was the top scorer with 34 runs off 22 balls, while Virat Kohli contributed 33 runs off 24 balls before being dismissed by leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. R Ashwin’s bowling was exceptionally well, taking 2 wickets for 19 runs in his four overs. During this match, Virat Kohli also became the first batter to reach 8000 runs in IPL history.

Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals team managed to limit the strong Royal Challengers Bangalore batting lineup to a score of 172/8. RR started well with Yashasvi Jaiswal building good partnerships with Tom Kohler-Cadmore and captain Sanju Samson. However, RCB fought back by quickly dismissing both Jaiswal and Samson in the middle overs. Dhruv Jurel was then run out thanks to a fantastic effort by Virat Kohli near the boundary.

With Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer in, RR needed 58 runs from the last six overs, but RCB still looked strong due to their fielding and the mistakes made by RR in running between the wickets. Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 4 wickets in the IPL 2024 Eliminator in Ahmedabad.
