IND vs ENG 3rd Test Strongest Playing Of Both Teams And Updated Squad: The two giants of world cricket, India and England, are playing each other in the longest format of the game. India has been a consistent part of the World Test Championship (WTC) and has played the finals on either occasion in 2021 and 2023. The no 2 ranked test side, however, has not been able to win the trophy. The English have evolved their style of gameplay in tests but despite substantial efforts, they have failed to impress in World Test rankings.

After the first two test matches of 2024 were extremely convincing, with some great talents like Pope, Hartley, and Jaiswal coming to the limelight, the third test would be a match where many new players would await us with their breathtaking efforts. The third test will be played from 15th February to 19th February at the Saurashtra Cricket Association stadium

India vs England 3rd Test

India’s Strongest 11:

Wicket Keeper:

KL Rahul

Batsmen:

Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, Rohit Sharma

Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel

Till now in the series, Jaiswal and Gill have stood front with the bat, however, the skipper can never be underestimated after his decorated career. Khan will hope to make his international test debut. The all-rounders are the current best in the world as Jadeja is ranked best with his immense scope of talent. In the bowler’s deck, Bumrah has just been the man of the moment with his toe-crushing Yorkers and swinging ability with the new ball.

Batsmen:

Z.Crawley, B.Duckett, O.Pope, Ben Stokes

All-rounders:

  • Joe Root

Bowlers:

Tom Hartley, Jimmy Anderson, Rehan Ahmed, Mark Wood, Jack Leach

England batters have come to the rescue of their team on simultaneous occasions, though none of the single players have entirely been dependable. English team has lacked proper all-rounders, as their skipper has not held the ball even on a single occasion, while Root has lacked proficiency with the bat.

The English bowling deck has been exceptional, with the young Hartley doing very well on subcontinent pitches, while Anderson has once again shown his immense excellence in the format. Wood and leach will be great picks for them as well.
