Top 5 Wrestlers With The Most Eliminations In A Royal Rumble Match. Royal Rumble 2023 will take place in about a month’s time on January 28th, and it is the time that we brush up on some of our knowledge about WWE’s historic pay-per-view event. The Royal Rumble has been one of WWE’s most-watched pay-per-view events ever since it debuted back in 1988.

The rules of the Royal Rumble are simple. 30 men take part in the main event. Two fighters start the match, and one new fighter joins in every 60 or 90 seconds. A fighter can be eliminated only by throwing him over the top rope, where both his feet must touch the ground.

The last man standing wins the match and gets a WWE title shot at Wrestlemania, which is the WWE pay-per-view event that takes place right after the Royal Rumble (mostly).

In this article, we shall take a look at the Top 5 wrestlers with the most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble match.

Hulk Hogan achieved this record in just the second edition of the Royal Rumble, i.e., back in 1989. Hulk Hogan eliminated Tully Blanchard, The Warlord, Mr. Perfect, Arn Anderson, Randy Savage, and Big Boss Man to name a few in that match.

4. Kane (11 Eliminations)

Kane is perhaps the best Royal Rumble player to have never won the event during his career. He was on a beast-like streak in the 2001 Royal Rumble, where he eliminated 11 wrestlers. Steve Blackman, Al Snow, Raven, Tazz, Crash Holly, and The Rock were only a few of the wrestlers that he eliminated. It is a shame that Kane could not win the event that year as he simply stole the show.

3. Roman Reigns (12 Eliminations)

The 2014 Royal Rumble marked the date when Roman Reigns showed the WWE universe what he was capable of. He was a member of the Shield back then, and he eliminated a lot of players with the help of the other two Shield members, namely Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

Roman Reigns was the finalist in that Royal Rumble, and he was eliminated by Batista in the end, who became a two-time Royal Rumble winner.

The monster among men stole the show in the so-called “Greatest Royal Rumble.” It was WWE’s first event in Dubai, and thus they announced a 50-man Royal Rumble match. Braun Strowman entered at number 41 and ran a complete riot. He eliminated 13 participants and ended up winning the event. He is the only wrestler on this list to have won the Royal Rumble event after such a dominating performance.

1. Brock Lesnar (13 Eliminations)

As the reigning WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar made the unthinkable decision to enter the Royal Rumble at No. 1. This was something that not many people had done before. He defeated 13 wrestlers in a row before being defeated himself by Drew McIntyre. That was one of the turning points in McIntyre’s WWE career, and he became an instant sensation.
