T20 World Cup 2024: Groups, Points Table And Standings. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is scheduled in the West Indies and USA from June 1 to June 29. The ninth edition of the tournament will be contested among 20 teams which are divided into four groups across 55 matches. Co-Host USA will face Canada in the tournament opener. The top two teams from each group will move to a Super 8 phase, where the teams will be divided into two groups of four.
Arch rivals India and Pakistan have been placed in Group A and their match will take place in New York on 9th June. Team India will be led by Rohit Sharma whereas Babar Azam will captain Pakistan’s team. Defending champion England will start their campaign against Scotland on June 4th at Bridgetown.
