England won the toss yesterday and decided to bowl. But their decision to bat first backfired them and they were bowled out for a poultry score of 112 with. In reply India also had a collapse and they themselves got bowled out to just 145. India could manage to get a lead of just 33 runs.

In reply England came to bat and it seemed they had an intention that they should score even lesser than their first innings score and they could manage to score just 81. Being set a target of just 49 runs to chase down. Rohit and Gill ensured that they take India through without even a sweat. They chased down the target in just 7.4 overs.

The talking point about this match would surely be the pitch, but, the pitch being set aside, it has been a quality bowling performance by the spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel. A total of 18 wickets were taken by both of them combined out of 20 wickets.
