ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Points Table, Most Runs & Most Wickets After IND vs. AFG  Match (Updated). India and Afghanistan faced each other at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi won the toss and elected to bat first in the Afghanistan-India cricket match. India’s bowling attack was led by the brilliant Jasprit Bumrah. Afghanistan’s opening pair of Rahmanullah Gurbaaz and Ibrahim Jadran gave a solid start.

Hardik Pandya, Team India’s most important asset, got a big boost with the dismissal of Azamtullah Umarzai. Kuldeep Yadav then got a big boost by dismissing skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi, followed by Jasprit Bumrah followed by Najibullah Zadran and Mohammad Danbi. The innings ended after 50 overs, with Afghanistan 272/8.

In India’s innings, Rohit Sharma proved his mettle with another one-day half-century and finally his seventh World Cup century but the innings also witnessed the departure of Ishan Kishan, who fell to the talented Rashid Khan. Rashid Khan dismisses Rohit with a nice knock. Virat Kohli scored back-to-back half-centuries to start the World Cup. He scored 55 runs in this game.

India batted well and Afghanistan had 15 overs to spare. The team did a fantastic job in both batting and bowling. Afghanistan could not score enough runs and faced challenges in batting and bowling. India, a dangerous team excels, especially when playing at home. They were ahead of Afghanistan in this match.
