The announcement comes as the excitement builds for IPL 2024. Scheduled to commence on March 22nd, with the defending champions Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore at the iconic Chepauk Stadium.

Dhumal expressed confidence in the upcoming mega auction, underscoring the pivotal stage where teams decide on three to four players for their core squad. This process lays the foundation for constructing a new team in the auction. However, this approach adds to the excitement and will be a continuing feature of the IPL format.
