PSL 2024: Full List Of 44 Players In The Platinum Category Revealed. The impending ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) promises grandeur as PSL 2024 approaches. Ahead of the December 13 draft, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the lineup of players in the Platinum pool on Tuesday.
The Platinum category boasts a roster of 44 players, including notable figures like Sri Lankan all-rounder Angelo Matthews, England’s Ben Duckett, West Indies power-hitter Kieron Pollard, and Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman. This distinguished group also includes noteworthy Afghanistan players such as Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Naveen Ul Haq, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz.
Van Der Dussen and Imran Tahir from South Africa are noteworthy additions to the Platinum pool. The PSL 2024 Draft at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Lahore will feature 485 international players from 22 countries. However, with 44 in the Platinum category and 76 in the Diamond category, as per the Pakistan Super League statement.

Moreover, the Pakistan Cricket Board revealed that the upcoming ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League will take place in four cities nationwide. Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Multan have been chosen as the host cities for the matches.
Also, The inaugural match in Lahore will mark the commencement of the PSL 2024 on February 18. Nevertheless, certain franchises have raised concerns about potential delays attributed to cold weather and fog, casting doubt on the scheduled timings.
