Ramiz Raza, the President of the Pakistan Cricket Board, stated that if this occurs, India would be forced to face the consequences, and Pakistan would not be traveling to India for the World Cup.

However, it was announced last week that India will play its Asia Cup games in an undetermined Neutral location. After a temporary deadlock, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are working swiftly to negotiate a deal that might result in both sides playing their tournament matches against one another outside of Pakistan. India will probably play their 2023 Asia Cup games in England, Oman, Sri Lanka, or the United Arab Emirates.
