5 Player CSK Could Target

5 Players Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Could Target In IPL 2024 Auction. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) goes into the IPL 2024 auction with a strong hand. They have a remaining purse of ₹32.10 crore and six available slots, including three reserved for overseas players. This puts them in a good position to target high-profile players in the auction.

The defending champions took a notable step by releasing England all-rounder Ben Stokes, whom they had secured for Rs 16.25 crores in the previous auction. The MS Dhoni-led side has also decided to part ways with bowlers such as Sisanda Magala and Dwaine Pretorius.

The team has the flexibility to fill different areas of need. Whether it’s top-order batsmen middle-order hitters, all-rounders, or pace bowlers, they need to utilize at least ₹23.55 crore (75% of their remaining purse) in the auction, which gives them ample room for strategic acquisitions.

As CSK gears up for the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), they aim to strengthen their squad with experienced players and emerging talents. The final selection of players will depend on the team’s specific needs and the auction dynamics. Here are five players that CSK could bid for in the IPL 2024 auction.

Alzarri Joseph
