Strength:
The strength of Sunrisers Hyderabad has been their quality 1,2,3 batsmen. David Warner opens the innings with either Johnny Bairstow or Saha. These players are very destructive at their given day. Kane Williamson comes at no 3 which is very ideal and most important position. These players provide a very strong foundation for the middle order.
Weakness:
The strength for SRH can sometimes become a weakness for them. At times, when the top order fails to fire, then SRH does not have much experience in the batting order to carry the team forward. The likes of Priyam Garg, Abdul Samad etc are very young at this level to shoulder the responsibility.
- Kolkata Knight Riders:
Strength:
Kolkata Knight riders have the best foreign players in their squad. The likes of Eoin Morgan, Sunil Naraine, Andre Russel, Pat Cummins provide a lot of variety to their team. Sunil naraine and Andre Russel are multi-dimensional players who along with bowling can also contribute with the bat. In fact, sunil Naraine has many times opened the innings for KKR and has scored quick runs for the team.
Weakness:
Kolkata Knight Riders have been famous for changing their captain mid-way in the tournament. Last season Dinesh karthik stepped down as the captain mid-way during the tournament. The team has also failed to find a proper replacement for Dinesh Kartik as a wicketkeeper. This has led to problems many times for KKR.
