Hockey World Cup 2023: Team India Squad, Schedule, And Live Streaming Details. Hockey World Cup 2023 will be held in Odisha (India) from January 13 to 29. Bhubaneswar and Rourkela are the host cities of the 15th edition of the Men’s hockey world cup. This is the 4th edition of Men’s hockey world cup hosted in India.
A total of 16 teams taking part in the tournament. All teams divided into 4 pool. India’s only hockey World Cup title till date came in Kuala Lumpur, 1975, when they defeated arch-rival Pakistan by 2-1 and won the title.

Team India which have been drawn in Pool D will start their Hockey World Cup 2023 campaign against Spain on 13th January in Rourkela.
Defender Harmanpreet Singh will lead the Indian men’s hockey team at the quadrennial meet while defender Amit Rohidas has been named as the vice-captain of the Indian squad for Hockey world cup 2023.
