World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25: Team Australia Home And Away Schedule. The 2023-25 WTC cycle has begun with some interesting contests already. Pakistan beat Sri Lanka 2-0 in a two-match test series in July in Sri Lanka while India beat West Indies in West Indies 1-0. Australia and England engaged in a thrilling Ashes series in England where the series ended in a 2-2 draw but Australia retained the Ashes.

The 2021-23 World Test Championship witnessed some of the most exciting contests. The final was played between two of the best teams in world cricket. The final proved that Australia is the best side in modern-day cricket as they have some of the best talents in all formats.

The 2023-25 WTC cycle will have the same points method where if a team wins it will get 12 points, six points if the match is tied, and four points if the match ends in a draw. Every team will play three home & three away series like the previous WTC cycle for two years with nine teams competing.

Kangaroos have continued with the momentum as they managed to retain the Ashes after the series ended in a 2-2 draw. Pat Cummins & co are looking in fine form as they have highlighted why they are the best side. Australia’s schedule for WTC 2023-25

5 Match series against England (Away)

The recently concluded Ashes series witnessed some of the most thrilling encounters. The series highlighted that test cricket is still alive in this era of T20 cricket. Both teams played well as the series ended in a 2-2 draw but Australia managed to retain the Ashes. Below are the venues, dates, and results of that series :

1st Test, June 16th-20th, Birmingham- Australia won by 2 wickets

2nd Test, June 28th-2nd July, London- Australia won by 43 runs

3rd Test, July 6th-9th July, Leeds- England won by 3 wickets

4th Test, July 19th-23rd July, Manchester- Match Drawn

5th Test, July 27th- 31st August, London- England won by 49 runs

3 Match series against Australia (Home)

Australia will be playing a three-match test series against the visiting Pakistan team at home in December 2023. The series will begin on the 14th of December.

1st Test, December 14th- 18th, Perth

2nd Test, December 26th-30th, Melbourne

3rd Test, January 3rd- 7th, Sydney

2 Match series against West Indies (Home)

Australia beat West Indies during a test series in the 2021-2023 WTC cycle in 2022 in Australia. The Aussies will be aiming to win the home series again. Following is the schedule of that series:

1st Test, January 17th- 21st, Adelaide

2nd Test, January 25th-29th, Brisbane (D/N)

2 Match series against New Zealand (Away)

After the Pakistan series, Australia will travel to New Zealand for a two-match test series. The series will be held around February-March 2024.

5 Match series against India (Home)

Australia will take on India when team India travels to Australia in December 2024. It will be Australia’s last home series of the 2023-25 WTC cycle. It will be a five-match test series that will be played from December 2024-January 2025.

2 Match series against Sri Lanka (Away)

Australia will tour Sri Lanka later on which will be Australia’s last series in the 2023-25 WTC period. It will be a two-match test series. Both teams played a test series last year also that ended in a 1-1 draw.
