Major League Cricket (MLC): Format, Teams, Venues, Broadcast, Live Streaming, and Schedule and Time In IST: The inaugural season of Major League Cricket (MLC) is set to begin on July 13 in the United States, marking a watershed moment in the country’s cricketing history. The league, which will include some of the world’s greatest international talents, will be a watershed moment for professional franchise cricket in the country.
American Cricket Enterprises (ACE) ran the competition, which was sanctioned by USA Cricket. The introduction of Major League Cricket is intended to boost the game’s popularity in the country. The inaugural MLC season will include 6 teams in total. International cricket talents will appear in the prestigious T20 competition. Meanwhile, IPL franchisees owned four of the six teams.
The MLC aspires to provide international cricket players with a stage to showcase their talents on American soil. Viewers can look forward to seeing renowned players from across the world exhibiting their skills and battling it out for the coveted MLC championship. The sports will be performed under floodlights to attract a larger crowd, boosting the overall ambiance and spectacle of the events.
MLC Format
There will be play-offs and a round-robin format for the league. Each team in the league will play five games, one against each opponent, and the top four teams will advance to the Play-offs, which will consist of four games: the Qualifier, the Eliminator, the Challenger, and the Final. With this format, a total of 19 games will be played during the tournament.

MLC Broadcast And Live Streaming In India
Major League Cricket’s broadcast and digital rights have been bought by Viacom18. Hence MLC 2023 live coverage in India can be viewed on Sports18 TV channel. The channel is accessible via cable TV and a number of DTH systems.
The Jio Cinema app will offer live streaming of MLC 2023 matches. It’s important to note that, like the IPL, free internet broadcasting of the USA T20 League will be available via the aforementioned app. The Jio Cinema app is available for download on Smart TVs in addition to smartphones and tablets.
