ICC T20I Rankings (Team, Batsmen, Bowlers, All-Rounders) 2024: India Become The Highest Ranked T20I Team. Since the completion of the 2023 ODI World Cup, team India has played three T20I series and their performance has been reflected in the new ICC T20 updated rankings. The Blues have climbed to the top of the T20 rankings as they continue their dominance in the shortest format of the game.

Recently, team India won the 5-match T20I series against Australia 4-1, drew the 3-match T20I series against South Africa 1-1 and have already won the first two matches of the 3-match T20I series against Afghanistan. England, New Zealand, Pakistan and Australia are the other four of the top five teams in the rankings in that order.

With this, ICC also announced updated Batting, Bowling and All-rounder T20I rankings and there are a couple of Indian players in those lists as well. Most notably, Suryakumar Yadav has retained his position as the No. 1 T20I batsman in the world. Let’s take a look at all the updated rankings.

There has been no change in the top three places in the batting rankings as Suryakumar Yadav, Phil Salt, and Mohammad Rizwan keep their spots, respectively. A player who made significant improvements in his ranking is Yashasvi Jaiswal, who rose seven places to become the 6th-ranked T20 batsman in the world. Pakistan’s Babar Azam has also gained one rank to get to the fourth spot on the list by overtaking Aiden Markram.

Adil Rashid remains the highest-ranked T20I bowler in ICC rankings. One of the players who made significant improvements here is Axar Patel who climbed up 12 spots to become the 5th-ranked player on the list. Two of Sri Lanka’s main men in the bowling department, namely Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theeksana, are joint third on the list. There is another Indian bowler in the list, Ravi Bishnoi and he is at the 6th spot, right after Axar Patel.

There have not been many changes in the all-rounder rankings. Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Nabi remain at the top two positions and India’s Hardik Pandya is now fifth on the spot. Apart from that, some players have gone a few positions up and down on the list.
