The Wimbledon 2022 draw happens on Friday. Defending champion and top seed Novak Djokovic will face Kwon Soon-woo of South Korea in the men’s singles first round of Wimbledon 2022. World No 2 and 22-time grand slam winner Rafael Nadal who is set to make his first appearance at Wimbledon since 2019 will play against Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo.

Home favorite two-time Wimbledon champion and unseeded Andy Murray have been pitted a favorable first-round draw against Australia’s James Duckworth, who is yet to win a match on the ATP Tour this season.

Last Year’s finalist Italian Matteo Berrettini could clash with Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals.

Wimbledon 2022 Women’s Draw

In the women’s draw 7 time Wimbledon champion Serena Williams will begin her comeback to play against world No 113 Harmony Tan in the opening round. Serena who injured her leg in the first round of Wimbledon last year is making her first appearance in the singles at any tournament.

World No 1 and top seed Iga Swiatek whose best performance at Wimbledon to date was a fourth-round run last year will play against Jana Fett in the first round. The US champion and No 10 seeded British star Emma Raducanu who has been struggling with injury coming into Wimbledon will face World No 46 Alison van Uytvanck in the opening round.
