Lungi Ngidi also supported him well with two wickets for 24 runs. Their bowling helped DC restrict RR to a chaseable total.

Delhi Capitals stay alive in IPL 2026 qualification race

Delhi Capitals began their chase with confidence and a positive intent. KL Rahul played this calm knock, finishing on 56 runs off 42 balls. He kept things controlled through the middle overs and managed to keep DC ahead of the required run rate. Abishek Porel also put in a crucial innings, scoring 51 runs from 31 deliveries. The two of them stitched together a good partnership, and it gave Delhi a really solid base to push from. Then Rajasthan fought back, taking the wickets of Rahul, Porel, Tristan Stubbs, and David Miller in the same run of play.
