IPL 2022 playoff schedule. According to BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, Ahmedabad and Kolkata will host the TATA IPL 2022 playoffs in May with a 100% crowd capacity. The decision was taken by the Apex Council of the BCCI. The league stage of the IPL 2022 will conclude in Wankhede with the face-off between PBKS vs SRH on May 22, after which the four teams ( qualified for playoffs) will travel to Kolkata & Ahmedabad in the bio-bubble.

IPL 2022 Playoff Venues And Date

IPL 2022 qualifier 1 and eliminator will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on May 24 and 26 while eliminator 2 and the IPL 2022 final will be played in Ahmedabad on May 27 and 29. Unlike the ongoing league matches which are being played with 50% crowd capacity, the board said that a full crowd will be allowed for the play-offs & Finals.

A total of 70 league matches would be played by the 10 teams in the 15th season of IPL, after they were divided into two groups of five each ranked on the basis of a number of IPL titles won and total final appearances. With 38 matches already done, the IPL 2022 league stage would end with the encounter between the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on May 22 (Sunday).
