Dwayne Bravo Signs On As Afghanistan Bowling Consultant For T20 World Cup 2024. From 2023 Dwayne Bravo has served as the bowling coach for CSK after he retires from IPL. As Afghanistan prepares to play in the T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and USA he will share his knowledge with them. The inclusion of Bravo among the coaches brings a considerable amount of Encounter into this extremely young team which is preparing to take part in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Dwayne Bravo has had a successful career at the international level with an impressive T20 record including 91 T20 internationals 78 wickets and 1266 runs.In all he has played 573 T20s games taking a stunning total of 625 wickets and scoring 6957 runs There fore established himself as one of cricket’s best all-rounders in this format.

Bravo owes his success to his ability to perform under pressure both with bat and ball. His ability to pick up decisive wickets at one end and score useful runs down the order has on many occasions turned matches in favor of his team. Bravo was also vice-captain for West Indies who won the title During the T20 World Cup 2012.

During the 2016 T20 World Cup, Dwayne Bravo was his team’s joint-highest wicket-taker and played an important role in the West Indies’ successful journey to win it. His valuable input to these bowlers significantly contributed to CSK’s fifth IPL title win in 2023

The Afghanistan team is already in St. Kitts and Nevis where they have set up their ten-day training camp before the tournament. Uganda is their first match on June 4th followed by New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and then West Indies as their other group stage opponents.
