Asia Cup 2025: India Beat Pakistan by 7 Wickets in Dubai Clash. India achieved victory over Pakistan in a one-sided contest at the Asia Cup 2025 match after chasing down a target of 128 for a total of 7 wickets in Dubai. The results showed India’s dominance, while Pakistan had a lot to think about moving forward in the series.

Batting first, Pakistan struggled against India’s disciplined bowling attack. Kuldeep Yadav was the main threat with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 18 runs, while Axar Patel took 2 wickets for 18 runs. Early wickets from Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya dampened Pakistan’s hopes as they found themselves 7 wickets down for 70. A late counterattack from Shaheen Afridi (33 off 16)* gave Pakistan’s innings some respect, allowing them to score 127 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.

India’s Confident Chase

India’s chase began with fireworks from newly appointed opener Abhishek Sharma, who made 31 runs from 13 balls off his first 13 balls. Shubman Gill fell cheaply for 10 runs, but Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma provided stability. Suryakumar Yadav remained calm while Tilak contributed runs on the other end, allowing India to chase down the target with 15 balls remaining. Conclusively, Surya’s men won a clinical victory.

This win strengthens India’s position in the Super 4s, while Pakistan now finds itself with a must-win scenario in its remaining matches to be alive in the tournament. The result adds another page to India’s dominating history against Pakistan in Asia Cup games.
