IPL 2023 Schedule: Chennai Super Kings Will Take On Gujarat Titans In The First Match Of IPL 2023. BCCI announces much awaited TATA IPL 2023 Schedule on Friday. The tournament will start on March 31 at Narendra Modi Stadium and the final will be played on May 28 at the same venue. The first match of the 16th season will be played between defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) and 4-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Ahmedabad on March 31 from 7.30 PM IST.
There will be a total of 74 matches at IPL 2023, 70 are league stage matches, 3 are qualifiers, and then the final. 2nd match of IPL 2023 will be played between 5-time IPL champion Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Arch rival Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings will face each other on the match no 6 of IPL 2023 on April 8.
For the first time after 2019, IPL will be organized in home and away format. All 10 teams of IPL 2023 will play seven home and seven away matches.
