IPL 2023 Auction: 4 Players Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Can Target. Sunrisers Hyderabad has been a consistent performer in the IPL since its inception. The SRH squad is mostly led by David Warner, their most successful batsman, who has had innumerable knocks playing for the Sunrisers.
Great performances from Warner led them to the finals of the 2016 IPL, where they defeated the Kohli-led franchise RCB and went on to be the champions. After a two-year hiatus, they returned to the IPL finals in 2018 and were defeated by CSK.
With all of its successes over the years, SRH has garnered widespread acclaim and support from audiences, establishing its own fan base. However, the last 2 editions didn’t go as planned, as the Sunrisers failed miserably to perform in the last 2 editions.
Their failure led the SRH management to take some brave decisions by letting go of their captain Kane Williamson and batter Nicholas Pooran. With the release of their big bids, SRH now has the largest purse of the 2023 IPL auction at 42.25 crores.

4. Cameron Green
The Australian has seemed to impress cricket fans around the globe, and Green has the attention of all cricket franchises around the world. SRH felt the void of a big-hitting all-rounder who could finish the innings for them.
Green has proven to be clinical for Australia towards the end of the innings and has a T20I strike rate of 174, which proves his merit as a finisher. Green would thus be their primary target in the mini-auction, and they are willing to pay any amount for them.
3. Adam Zampa
The Aussie leggie has been in great form for the Australian National team as he has been the one who has struck several times picking up crucial wickets in the middle overs. The newly named captain for BBL side Melbourne Stars has picked a handsome 82 T20i wickets and is nearing his 250th wicket in the T20 format.
The trickster has even picked 21 wickets in 14 IPL appearances with a good average of 17.6. SRH would be looking for a decent spinning option as they lack one on their side and Zampa can be a perfect fit in the squad.

2. Rilee Rossouw
Rossouw can be their best pick at No. 3 after letting go of their reliable batsman, Kane Williamson. With Rossouw on their side, they can have a greater hand in their batting lineup, and his recent form would further strengthen their batting order.
Rossouw has 699 runs in T20Is at a blistering strike rate of 156, which shows not only his form but also his great intent, which is a much-needed attribute for a T20 batsman. And with abundance in their purse, SRH can have a go at any player they want to.
1. Narayan Jagadeesan
He is a talented domestic cricketer who has had a dream season in the Indian limited-overs league and recently broke the world record of Rohit Sharma by scoring 277, the highest score ever in the limited-overs format. This young man would be a prime target for SRH as they would look to stabilize their middle order even further.
